Although I don't attend this church, I walk/drive past there a lot and it is in dire need of new paint. The church is Tawa Baptist Church on Main Road, Tawa. There are several buildings within the church.

New Plymouth Spiritualist Church. Building has weather damage and needs repainting. We would also like to add colourful Murals to the fence for the whole community.

I've had a few conversations with local artists and community groups and we'd like to do an artwork along these lines: sharedlinesputahitanga.co.nz...
The only thing holding us back is some funding/sponsorship at this point!

An early childhood centre that has tamariki and their supporting whanau learning through play. We are an integral part of our local community, a place of support for parents of young children, and a place to develop long-lasting relationships in the community, for the whole family. We believe in parents and whanau as first teachers of children and we follow their lead in play. Our sessions comprise of many areas of play, including big muscle, exploration, music, carpentry, science, gardening, and creating.
Currently we have 30 children ranging from new-born to almost school age attending across our three sessions. We also have a SPACE new parent group who meet weekly and where 15 babies from new-born to 12 months old attend over the course of three terms. We are a busy centre that has the joyful atmosphere of children doing what they do best, playing! And we have their development through play at the forefront of everything we do.
We have had redecorating our driveway and fort on our to-do list for a long time. However, lately some pressing safety concern jobs like replacing deteriorated guttering and damaged weather curtains have consumed our finances and focus. We would love to spend some time beautifying and brightening up our centre rather than property maintenance task, although important they don’t add that magic touch our centre very much deserves.
Our driveway and fort are both pavement facing so we would love for them to be as appealing as possible, for our current Playcentre whanau and for prospective families walking by or visiting us. Currently our driveway is a mix of an unfinished mural that we have attempted to clean off, an unused hopscotch, and some random paint designs. We envision a beautiful, inviting mural for this space.
Our fort is fading and in much need of staining or painting to bring it back to life. While the tamariki do enjoy picking up a brush and painting parts of the fort themselves, we’d love to completely refresh this much-loved play area. We like the idea of rainbows to brighten the entranceway and fort. These being the first visual points of contact for our centre, we’d love to outwardly showcase the joy and aroha that you find just beyond our gate!
Thank you so much for this opportunity

We are a charitable trust and teach circus for all ages and abilities across Te Tai Tokerau with a social arts model which develops physical, emotional and social wellbeing through fun and creative play.
Our Creative Centre/office at 15 Onslow St, in Dargaville is looking a bit old and tired and we would love to cover it with a bright and colourful paint job to make it shine like our circus super star students. We are located directly opposite the Dargaville Swimming pool which means many people will see and appreciate the upgrade!
We are often given the feedback that we 'bring colour and life' to our community and would love if our Creative Centre represented that as well as our performances/workshops do!
Our landlord is fully supportive and there are already a few murals inside and outside the building so we have the green light to turn the place into a work of art.
Kumarani focuses on providing our services to people who face barriers to participation and supports youth, rainbow communities and people with diabilities to feel safe, develop confidence and connect with each other. We also support social and civil services and grassroots neighbourhood connections through our work with Neighbourhood Support New Zealand and the Kaipara Tamariki Collective.
We run and perform at events to bring communities together in celebration. Circus includes many different skills so there is something for everyone to enjoy learning and watching.
We have plans to build a rainbow fence along the front of the property to raise LGBTQI+ awareness and inclusion (we run a support group for the Kaipara rainbow community), and install a community garden. Having paint sponsership would make this project much easier!

Active Arts Taupo is on 5 Redoubt St and easily seen from Tongariro Street as you enter town from the North. It is a non profit arts organization offering an environment for enthusiastic artists in a creative space to express themselves through a variety of art mediums where New Members are Welcome. It would be great to give the building some colour and vibe so it looks like an inviting place for people to go and be creative and get good fellowship at the same time. We are very fortunate to have this building where locals can go and be creative with clay, paints and mixed media, and also have a gallery where the art created can be displayed and sold - encouraging people to do more! We are fortunate to have wonderful potters who offer evening classes and daytime sessions for getting together and doing your own thing. The painters get together on Tuesdays from 10am to 3 pm and Thursday afternoons 1pm - 3pm. Mixed Media group meet on Mondays. There is always something happening for the community to get involved with. It would be wonderful to give the building a facelift with the help of new paint. We have many hands that will help apply the paint!

We want to enter our project for the Resene Colour your Community prize. It is a worthy Project as we are all volunteers and want to fix, waterblast and replace rotten fence pales which needs badly painting white. The Cottage Garden and the old Historical Old Rose provide a colourful display all year round but the fence is letting us down. The general public, visits, tourists, families and artists use this beautiful area to relax, reflect and enjoy. This area is very busy all week and during the weekend. We would love to be Neighbourly with Resene Colour. Thank you.

So we would really benifit being one of the lucky six winners. Fingers crossed and good luck everyone 😁👍

This beautiful historic church is coming up 90 years old and as a parish, we are currently raising funds as it requires earthquake strengthening. It is a small parish with a variety of ages and raising funds is a huge task that we are undertaking but has been hampered due to Covid restrictions. This prize would be amazing to win as the cost for earthquake strengthening is significant and raising funds is a huge effort. St Mary's is a Grade 2 listed historic building and has been standing in this little community since Wartime. It is looking sad and once the building is strengthened we will have to paint it to bring it back to its former glory. It is a brick building but requires painting on soffits, battens, doors and window frames Please consider us a viable contestant as this lovely church & the community of Gordonton would benefit from this immensely. Thank you so much for your consideration.
Regards, Trish Smithson.
Rob & Larraine from Johnsonville
The under-pass from Johnsonville Rd to the motorway is in dire need of some colour. There was a project with the WCC to paint it with pictures but has not been implemented so far. This is a dark, colourless area that's in desperate need of some new paint.
Angeline from Foxton
The Foxton Race course buildings can do with a coat of paint, they are used by the show jumpers, school cross country’s, army activity and trails it would lift the whole appearance of the place and bring lots of smile to locals faces
