Aesthetics drive his work, and he’s always seeking new ways to bring ideas to life. I love exploring different media, with a special focus on caricature, where the expressive nature of facial features allows me to play and create in a fun, childlike way. Aesthetics drive my work, and I’m always looking for new ways to bring ideas to life through art.

It wouldn’t be the first time Dylan goes with his flow..

Richard Coldicutt
Instagram: richardcoldicutt0
Devonport artist Richard Coldicutt returned to NZ after an extensive academic career studying and lecturing across Australia. Following his return Richard has relinquished all teaching commitments to focus on his art production. Much of Richard's artistic career has been dedicated to exploring the representation of the body; some drawn and painted directly from life, others draw upon the history of art as a reference and index to contemporary conservatism. Richard’s practice includes drawing, painting, sculpture, print, writing and photography.
I enjoy supporting and promoting the arts both locally and internationally. Art Battle offers a great opportunity to inspire communities to value and embrace creative enterprises. I enjoy the challenges of working under pressure.

Roberta takes influences from places and cultures she comes across, which continue to shape her identity and inform her work. Roberta’s background is in architecture. She is interested in the relationship between the artwork, the viewer and the space.
