Fixing the glare from line-markings on Kamo Road: We share your concerns and have been working with the contractor to fix the problem. In this video, Mayor Vince Cocurullo talks solutions with Downer Transport and Infrastructure Project Manager Kobus Potgieter and Chief Executive Simon Weston. The usual water-blasting process could not remove the many layers of old paint, which is why it had to be covered, which created glare. The new process is much less "shiny" and adds fine grit to the road. It will be applied over the coming weeks as weather permits. ...more
