Three performers and a live musician attempt the impossible: to capture the Titanic’s first and last voyage—with minimal props and maximum laughs. From shipwrecks to conspiracy theories, and everything in between, this show covers it all!

MEET THE CAST

Lizzie Tollemache

Lizzie is one of Aotearoa’s leading variety entertainers. A critically acclaimed theatre maker, sideshow stuntwoman and storyteller, she has toured seven countries and dozens of festivals with her sparkling eyes/wit/cleavage. Co-writer and director of previous Summer Theatre shows Treasure Island and King Arthur, Lizzie is also the Creative Director of Rollicking Entertainment, which weaves circus, mentalism and sideshow into main-stage theatre. 

Dan Pengelly

Dan grew up in North Canterbury, and has been performing since he was 13 when he first discovered theatre. He has been a Court Jester since 2004, performing Scared Scriptless weekly on and off since then. He has performed around the country in kids shows, devised works, plays and musicals. He was the Artistic Director at Centrepoint Theatre 2017-2019 and the Court Theatre 2020-2022. He holds a Masters Degree in Theatre Directing and is proudly an award winning Auctioneer for Harcourt’s Holmwood. 

Darlene Mohekey

Darlene is a professional singer, director, musical director, award-winning writer, actress and show-off, working extensively throughout New Zealand. She last appeared in Christchurch in the Court Theatre production of RENT and played many roles in previous Summer theatre shows such as Treasure Island and King Arthur. For 10 years, Darlene was the Creative and Musical Director for Blue Baths, creating and leading hundreds of events. Well-known for her many tricks and cabaret-style talents, she performs an array of singing styles, musical instruments and wacky characters.
