Every year, on the first Sunday of March, people across New Zealand celebrate Children’s Day. This special day honours the joy, curiosity, and potential of our tamariki. 

Join in with the families, schools, and communities who come together and indulge in fun activities and events to cherish our kids.

[Girl 5] You can do gardening.

[Girl 6] Crafty kind of stuff.

[Girl 4] And be creative.

[Girl 1] And paint!

[Girl 4] And do things that you wouldn't normally do.

[Boy 5] And be calm.

[Boy 7] Keep your family close.

[Boy 3] You could write down a happy quote in a notebook. So then every time you look in it, each day, you can see something positive to make you have a fun day.
