I contacted him and he and his eife came to collect my car for me and when I offered my debit card to pay for the current parking charges declined to take it.
Then once I was discharged He was going to pick me up but when he found out he wasn't able to, offered to pay for a taxi for me to collect my car.

🏅Carissa Carter & Winton Houghton🎖
Having been unwell for a significant amount of time now I have experienced the most amazing generosity & care from my wonderful neighbour Carissa Carter & her partner Winton of Fitzroy Street, Paptoetoe. Their generosity knows no bounds whether it be mowing my lawn, an amazing meal, groceries- I really cannot thank her enough. It’s so reassuring to know there are still people in this world like them who are prepared to show so much kindness & generosity. They have truly gone above & beyond & I really cannot thank them enough, a little public gratitude seems insignificant in comparison. How I will ever repay them I do not know, my gratitude is endless. The world would be an amazing place if everyone had neighbours like them!

I have high blood pressure and this was a heart attack moment. Me thinking he has just saved my sons life!!!!.I remember thinking Angels are watching over us and this Awesome Neighbour and his family are living guardians! I really do not know how to say Thank You meaningfully and this would be so AMAZING!! He so deserves this Title. :D

We also have three dogs who liek to bark wehn they hear people knocking on our door. Our beautiful son Haart also has autism, he is 4 and cannot speak BUT is very loud and high pitched and gets angry and upset a lot. Our neighbours Ray and MAry are AMAZING - Haart likes to throw all sorts of things over their fence, including dirty nappies, they just smile and throw them back!! They always give our kids a little Xmas and birthday gift, my son is born on the same day as Ray. They always take the time to talk to us and our kids which I think is very special. We very very lucky to have such understanding and caring neighbours, and luckily Ray does not hear too well so hopefully cannot hear our noise. Ray often will drop bags of tangelos into us but sadly his tangelo tree died recently. They take a lot of pride in their gardens which is what first inspired me when we first moved in
Leanne from Woolston
Always keeps a watch on our house while we are at work, mows our lawns sometimes, brings in our wheelie bins and has brought over gifts for the kids at Xmas. Just an all round great neighbour not only to us but other houses around us.
Cindy from North Invercargill
Our Awesome Neighbours Russell & Beth bring in our wheely bins every week when we are at work (and not just ours!!) They have been doing this almost every week for the nearly eight years we've been in this house. We wheely appreciate what they do.

I never expect anything but over the years I have been included in their celebrations whether it be a graduation, family reunions and special occasions. Though they are away from time to time through the year, I always keep an eye out for their property though I have never been asked to. I even get picked up if I am seen walking home from the shops. I couldn't ask for better neighbours.
